Life expectancy of Iceland goes up to 82.6 years

In 2023 the life expectancy in Iceland increased to 82.6 years.

That year, the life expectancy for women was 84.4 years and for men 80.9 years.

Iceland’s position improvened with respect to the 194 countries we publish life expectancy, dropping from the 21th in 2022 to 18th in 2023.
